Men Skirts

Sometimes there's a difference in pushing the envelope in fashion and just plain weird. I'm not a great fashion expert but at least I think I know what looks good or what is not. 

Men wearing skirts is something I find hard to digest. I'm not a fan of people cross dressing. Sure, this might be your hobby or another skeleton in your closet but I hate looking at men wearing any sort of 'womanly' item of clothing. Maybe they love the breeze...down there. 

But I find it pretty interesting looking at these guys, especially Kanye and Marc Jacobs wearing skirts. They are really breaking the boundaries of fashion, so kudos to them. Well, I guess if women can wear power suits, the men can wear what ever they like I guess :)

Moody January

The last couple of weeks since the start of January have been super hectic. And now somewhere mid of January, I’m sooooo moody it’s not funny anymore. Been trying so hard to keep myself upbeat and positive but I just want to curl on bed and sleep. Plus, I’m back late almost every night and so tired to function when I’m back. And I’ll be up at 3 a.m. or 4 a.m. every night because my body thinks it’s fun to do that. So yeahhh. I’m ranting here because I have to stop complaining to my boyfriend. Okay. But apart from the craziness at the office, everything’s been great! OK. Putting on my thinking cap. Back to work.

Welcoming 2013!

Happy New Year everyone!

I had a great time celebrating my new year. To me, it’s not so much of ‘celebrating’ for the sake of celebrating only. New Year’s represents a clean slate for the year. You get a chance to perfect whatever you’ve done wrong in the previous year and move on towards greater things.

I welcomed 12.00 am, 1^st January 2013 with my partner in the car, stayed in the car watching fireworks over Sunway Pyramid from the highway. Nothing big, but with him, things are always fun and exciting. Before that we had a small dinner do with our friends.

And the family lunched together to celebrate my brother’s birthday and welcoming the new year. Good food and good company, that’s all we need : )

Financial Planning for Babies

Babies here are not literally babies, bayi. What I meant is young executives who are new to the working life (like me…well, one year plus is still quite new) and just starting to lead a more stable life financially.

I started keeping track of my expenditure every month because, ONE, I’m a big spender. I spend a lot of money on unnecessary things like cheap clothes and accessories that will be worn out within a few months, TWO, it’s damn hard for me to save money. I go on a lot of holidays but instead of saving the money bit by bit every month, normally I’d just pool up my salary that particular month for a trip and just stop spending on anything. Which is just dumb.
